WSU adds QB to class of 2016
Junior college quarterback Anthony Gordon signed with Washington State and will have three years of eligibility.
Because he was an automatic qualifier out of high school, Gordon did not need to attain an associate degree before transferring to a four-year school. That is to say, he'll have a redshirt year available, and then three years to play after that.
Gordon played with fellow WSU signee Robert Taylor at the City College of San Francisco, leading their team to a California Community College Athletic Association state championship. He was the top Juco passer in the state with 3,864 passing yards, and completed 65.1 percent of his passes.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound slinger should fit in nicely in the Air Raid offense, which is to say he's no stranger to prolific offensive schemes. As a senior at Terra Nova High he threw for 4,899 yards and 49 touchdowns.
CougCenter analyst Brian Anderson seems pretty happy about the signing and you can check out his video for yourself below.
