Look here for the free stuff

Dan

Today I begin a new program to help serve readers of The Spokesman-Review: free stuff. Yes, I mean free stuff. As in books. I have in my hand — er, on my desk — as I type this, a copy of “Darwin’s Children” by Greg Bear . This is the sequel to Bear’s novel “Darwin’s Radio,” winner of the 2000 Nebula Award, which is handed out annually by the Science Fiction Writers of America to the best sci-fi novel of the year.

Just ask for my copy of “Darwin’s Children” and I’ll send it to you. Free. No obligations. No unwanted spam. The first among you to send me your address gets the book.

I would ask one thing: If you feel the inclination, tell me what you think of the book. I’m sure the rest of The Spokesman-Review Book Club would like to hear what you have to say.
