If you look up the dictionary definition of nymph, you’re likely to see picture of Brittany Murphy staring back at you. No one has gotten more screen mileage out of her ability to project hot, girlish sexuality than this 25-year-old actress.

As can be seen in very magazine spread that she inhabits, from Vanity Fair to Movieline, and from every movie she appears in, from “Clueless” to “Riding in Cars With Boys,” “Summer Catch” to “8 Mile,” Murphy puts more heat into her vamping than anyone since Marilyn Monroe .

And opening Friday, we have “Uptown Girls,” which features Murphy doing the same-old. Someone needs to rein this starlet in. Where did you go, Joe DiMaggio ?
