From Bombay to Brooklyn

If you’re planning on going to see “The Guru,” as I am, you might want to rent a few bona-fide Bollywood films to get a feel for the real thing. Some of you saw “Lagaan,” the 3-hour, 44-minute-long Indian musical that explored both class differences and … uh, cricket. Actually, the musical numbers were bizarre but, in the end, immensely entertaining.

By the way, “The Guru” is playing in Spokane exclusively at the River Park Square Cinemas.
