During the Emmy Awards broadcast on Fox last night, the veteran comedian threw a curt putdown at Wanda Sykes , he gave a mostly unintelligible acceptance speech after being handed a Bob Hope Humanitarian Award, he never smiled that I could see and he wore sunglasses the whole time. Either he was in mourning, or he was doing his best Jack Nicholson impersonation. Only he got it wrong: Nicholson may wear dark glasses, but he can’t NOT smile.
