Here’s today’s recommendation

If you’re at all serious about politics – and even if you aren’t – the film to see this weekend is Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11.” If you’re a Republican, then you need to know the enemy. If you’re a Democrat, then you need ammunition for the coming election.

Most of all, if you have half a brain, you’ll want to know what Moore is up to. Even Barbara Kopple , the epitome of traditional “objective” documentary filmmaking, loves what Moore does. She may not agree with everything he says – hey, who does? – but she admires his fearlessness in telling it. Considering all that’s going on in the world today, it’s only patriotic to examine all the issues.

And that includes Moore’s take on them.
