Somewhere in between lies the truth
Just received this reaction about Michael Moore’s movie “Fahrenheit 9/11” from reader Suzanne Newbro of Post Falls, Idaho:
“I didn’t see the movie, but I’ve talked to enough people to get a good idea of what it’s about. While I think Moore has probably exaggerated some things and taken some things out of context, I say ‘HURRAH’ to him for finding a way to get his views out. The
Government
and
Corporations
certainly spend lots of money to get their views out and more than likely do their fair share of exaggerating and taking things out of context, too, as well as
omitting important information
that might make them look bad. Somewhere in between probably lies the truth.
“At any rate, I don’t trust people with lots of money and an agenda to be completely truthful anyway. The rich always want to get richer and just aren’t concerned about the poor getting poorer, or figure it’s their own fault anyway. Or they’ve convinced themselves that the
trickle-down theory
is viable and it isn’t their greediness that keeps people poor, and that sure doesn’t look like the real world to me.”
