The only bad publicity is none at all

Spokane author Terry Bain just let me know that my interview with Salman Rushdie was referred to by a literary-minded blogger. Moroccan-born Laila Lalami , who lives now in Portland, runs a blog called Moorishgirl in which she tries to feature, she says, “literary news, commentary, book reviews and author interviews as well as occasional political and cultural links.” Of course, the embarrassing part of the excerpt from the interview that she posted is that there are two typos in it.
