Inquiring Minds Want to Know …

Monday afternoon a Lakeland school district bus slid off the road on Ramsey. Simple rear tire slide off, no one hurt, no property damage. A fish and game officer, female, stopped her truck in the middle of the road and started directing traffic. Then she got on the bus and started taking down the kids’ names for the “report”. Quite full of herself, my spy said. She was actually blocking the bus out and was impeding traffic flow also. A sheriffs deputy arrives on the scene, pooh poohs writing a citation for a simple slide off and sends the fish and game lady on her way. The bus was pulled from the ditch with a 4-wheel drive truck from the district without a scratch. So my question is what kind of authority would a fish and game officer have in a traffic situation. Sounds like she waaaaay overstepped her authority.
