Peanut Gallery: How Cold Can You Go?
I heard it was 45 below in West Yellowstone, WY, last night. Coldest I ever saw as a kid in northern Minnesota, or, as ya’ll would call it, North Minnesota, was 44 below — GreenL.
DFO: I’ve experienced 29 below during my sojourn (1977-82) in Kalispell , Mont. On the other hand, I also have been in the warmest place in the nation on a given day, Red Bluff, Calif., 118-plus on the day I applied for a job as sports editor in June 1972.
Question: What’s the bitterest cold that you’ve experienced?
