Issue: Putting the X in Xmas: Crossing names off your holiday-card list /Jack Broom, Seattle Times
Helpful Hint: “My rule of thumb … If I haven’t spoken to them in three years, or I don’t know what’s going on in their lives, I stop sending them a card. Or maybe it’s a Mr.-and-Mrs. thing that I didn’t know about. If I didn’t get invited to the wedding, then I probably don’t send them a Christmas card” — Marguie Huffman, manager of Simply Seattle at First and Pine.
Question: When do you broom someone from your Christmas card list?
Feedback: Usually when people take out ads targeting me in the newspaper I figure that’s a sign they’d like to be removed from the list — Mike Kennedy.
