What does dog laughter sound like?

We’ve got an interesting story for tomorrow about a local animal shelter worker who has discovered that a dog’s long, loud pant could actually be it’s laugh. Inquiring minds want to know, of course, what this sounds like. We’ll see about getting audio to go with this story.

We’ve got another local story about a man who’s donating 47 pounds of food to the food bank in recognition of the fact that he’s lost 47 pounds since he had his stomach banded, a less-invasive obesity treatment that the gastric bypass surgery.

We’re taking a look at a proposal to require hunters to wear orange clothing when hunting in Idaho. The widow of a man shot to death while hunting is pushing the proposal, which is thought to have little chance of being approved.

From the national wires, former President Clinton said the Bush administration is “flat wrong” in its stance on global warming; President Bush’s approval ratings have improved; and there’s an investigative piece about short runways at some secondary airports causing headaches and occasional accidents like the one that killed a boy in Chicago.
