The Brondell Swash 600 toilet seat is seen earlier today in San Francisco. San Francisco entrepreneur Scott Pinizzotto’s start-up company makes The Swash, a gadget he describes as “a more hygienic and comfortable way to go to the bathroom.” The gadget washes and then warms the back side. But pampering the posterior isn’t cheap. The Swash toilet seat retails for $439 to 549. Sales have risen by nearly 50 percent every three months.
