Seeing red

I’m not a Zags fan, although maybe someday I will be. But as a Kansas Jayhawks fan, I know that when the team suddenly switches to red uniforms, something’s wrong.

The fact that Gonzaga’s basketball team wore red in their game against Memphis on Tuesday wasn’t mentioned in today’s story, but we discussed it in the morning meeting.

At Kansas, when the Jayhawks come out dressed in red instead of their usual blue, it means the coach is hoping for a change of luck. I’m not sure what the red was supposed to do for Gonzaga, but it looks like it failed. I expect they’ll go back to wearing blue at away games for the rest of the season.
