Question (from Toadman) : How is killing Duncan going to bring back Dylan? Why are we playing God?

DFO: We’re getting ahead of ourselves here because Joseph Edward Duncan III hasn’t been convicted of anything. If he is convicted of the horrific crimes that claimed three members of the Groene family, he, indeed, deserves to die, although Dick Haugen’s probably right that he can string along his execution for years via appeals. Or claim insanity, etc. A life sentence without possibility of parole would be a good alternative because, in ways, that’s more horrible. As far as playing God goes, the God of the OT OK’d taking a life for a life. And Jesus never said anything to the contrary when it comes to punishing murderers.
