Peanut Gallery — Readerboards

Issue: I’ve often said business owners with reader boards should have to get a license before they put stuff up. I don’t mind the ones with half baked attempts at philosophy or life lessons, those kind of crack me up, but ones that make political statements are just offensive. They are kind of like real world blogs maybe. Anybody with a keyboard can start ranting. I also believe Spokane and apparently, North Idaho has a disproportionate share of idiots with reader boards. I was once going to dig itally photograph the worst offenders and mock them on a website devoted to stupid readerboards — Bearable Bob.

DFO: I enjoy a readerboard with a clever message. But too many of them are like vanity plates: boring.

Question: Do readerboards with personal or political messages (a la Davis Donuts) bug you?
