Peanut Gallery — Lemonade Stand Bust
Being from Sandpoint this does not surprise me. I wanted to sell hot dogs from a hotdog stand I built in woodshop to pull behind my bicycle at Lost in the 50’s. I went to city hall to find out what the requirements were and not only was there the $10.00 permit, but the health department had to inspect my operation and sign off on it, and I needed to provide them with a proper Tax Identification Number and business orginization documents if I was using any catch phrase like “Henry’s Hot Dogs” or whatever because it “wasn’t a legal business”. Pfht…. Shame on Sandpoint… and I’d like to know who the jerk was who sicked the cops on the poor kid - I have an idea of some likely suspects but won’t share them.
Digger
Feedback: Last summer, here in Sandpoint, I got pulled over on my bicycle for “riding on the wrong side of the street”. The cop says it was for MY safety … It was 5:30 in the morning on my way to work. The only two vehicles on the street were my bicycle and the cop’s Expedition — Tony Rosen.
