Bearly A Bird at the Feeder

Robin Butler sent this photo to the Kootenai Valley Press/Bonners Ferry, Idaho, reportedly taken near Kamloops, British Columbia recently, proving beyond doubt that if you set out food for our fine feathered friends, you’d better do it so there’s no chance other critters will be tempted! (BTW, I copied this for the Huckleberries Best of the Northwest below, so readers west of the Cascades could see it.

Update: Duffer has sent additional photos of the “Long Lake Bear” above. Seems it’s been circulating around the Internet for some time now. Not a hoax. But not a recent photo either. Still, it’s a fun photo.
