Big Midtown Meeting Tonight

The Lake City Development Corp. is hosting a public brain-storming session at 5:30 tonight in the Coeur d’Alene School District’s Midtown meeting room (5th & Linden) to discuss — Midtown. That’s the area between 3rd & 4th streets, between Foster and Harrison avenues. Mark Hinshaw , Director of Urban Design with Seattle-based LMN Architects, will lead the workshop. News Release: “The workshop’s agenda will simply be to share examples of place making efforts in various parts of the country, and to seek input from the Midtown stakeholders as to what Midtown could become, should become, or should not become.” In other words, the Powers That Be want your ideas about upgrading Midtown.
