denied to me by phone and in a letter to the editor that the hospital had anything to do with turning the sprinklers on reporters covering
Shasta Groene’s
rescue back when. But Huckleberries hears that The Powers That Be at the hospital was bragging about the incident. Also, we caught Lisa in another fib today. More on that later.

*In the buyer-beware category, Huckleberries hears there’s a scam taking place online. Seems some crook is mimicking Pay Pal by sending official looking e-bills that charge for items in the $60 to $90 range. If you want to contest the charge, you’re to click on a button that takes you to another Pay Pal-looking page that asks all kinds of personal info including your Social Security number, bank card and pen number, etc. Don’t fill in the blanks. Call Pay Pal.

*Blog Number: 4015 for Monday and 86260 through Monday. The dog days of summer blogging and that vacation earlier this month have had an effect. But it still looks like a fourth 100,000 pageview month in a row. We’ll see.
