Shameless Internal Boosterism

From the penultimate paragraph of Bob Paulos’ Sunday Brand X column:

It should be clear to just about everyone that the major development in the next few years will continue to be along Northwest Boulevard between Government Way and Kathleen … Riverstone, the new community center and a new shopping center at Appleway and Ramsey.

Too bad someone doesn’t come up with a spectacular idea for breathing new life in the downtown area so it can keep pace with the rest of the city … you know, something like a world-class botanical garden, if someone would offer to finance and maintain it.

DFO: Izzit just me, or is this over-the-top in promoting Boss Duane Hagadone’s downtown garden?
