Can’t say as that’s any big relief
One of the Web sites promoting Mel Gibson’s new, shorter-by-six-minutes version of “The Passion of the Christ” – which is titled, aptly, “The Passion Recut” – makes clear that people should expect the basic integrity of Gibson’s film to remain intact.
“Jesus Christ still dies on the cross,” we are told.
