Ah’m Your Huckleberry

As I mentioned in the postscript section to one of Mike Kennedy’s recent comments, Anna (Patty Duke) Pearce , Mike’s Aunt, attended the “Seussical” play at Lake City High tonight. Why am I telling you this? Well, after the play was over, LCHS drama adviser Sandi Seaton and the cast drew raffle tickets for a series of 10 prizes. Midway through, someone named Patano (Sandi? Mike? Etc?) won two prizes in a row, which surprised the crowd. Then, from 6 or 7 rows back, a familiar voice could be heard, saying: “One Patano, two Patano …” Yep, it was our favorite actress, which delighted those who’d stuck around. Quite a lady.
