DFO: I’ve quit watching pro basketball, and I’m slowly disengaging from pro football. Too many hotdogs in the first instance. Got tired of wasting Sunday afternoons in front of the TV set in the second. But I can’t abandon baseball. I love listening to the M’s while gardening in the back yard. The sport should clean up its act. But these hearings won’t chase me away from Dave Niehaus, Fairly and the M’s.
