DFO: Why is it that politicians have to drag Hitler and Nazism into 21st century discussions about a host of issues? The Democrats do it. The Republicans do it. It shows a basic lack of understanding of the horror of the Jewish holocaust. And an inability to think of your feet.

Question: When politicians apologize for verbal missteps, do you believe they’re sincere. Or are they trying to deflect the heat leveled at them?
