Huckleberries hears that …

…a sheriff’s marine boat got up close and personal with the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce float, while they were parked in Building 15 at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. About 3 weeks ago, Howard Martinson , float committee chairman, moved the float into the building, giving the two marine boats parked there for the winter a wide berth. However, someone still ran one of the boats into the float while moving it, causing an untold amount of damage — and leaving Martinson to figure how he’ll file a claim for damage: “I’ll ask chamber chairman of the board Ben Wolfinger to file the claim against Captain Ben Wolfinger of the sheriff’s department. Since chairman/Capt. Ben is also on the City Council, we are also looking into the city’s potential for liability here.” Got that. Ben sues Ben sues Ben.
