Sad thing is, it’s no joke

My friend Kathleen Magone loves to send out interesting quotes. Here’s one of my favorites: “A visitor from Mars could easily pick out the civilized nations. They have the best implements of war.” That comes from the late banker and prolific author Herbert V. Prochnow (1897-1998).

To paraphrase The Joker from Tim Burton’s “Batman,” “Where do they get those wonderful toys?”
