Demolition began on the Rookery Block today, much to the surprise of, well, almost everyone. The rather sudden period on what was expected to be a long discussion on how to develop the site will anchor the front page tomorrow.

Also tomorrow, more controversy over the chunk of riverfront land sold by the city to developer Don Barbieri - Mayor Jim West says Barbieri may not legally be able to build on the land, Barbieri’s lawyers say otherwise. Read all about it tomorrow.
