A fellow shopper reaches down to help a fallen Josephine Hoffman, 73, (bottom photo) as the crowd behind her pushes through and rushes past security guards today at Brandsmart at the Sawgrass Mills Mall in Sunrise, Fla. Retailers have been gearing up for this big shopping day for weeks, and shoppers are out looking for bargains. Hoffman (who was helped by her daughter in the top photo) was treated at a local hospital and released.
