Spokane County commissioners are cracking down on illegal junkyards; a couple of NIC students say a professor’s sailor talk promted them to drop a class (Idaho edition); a replica of Fort Clatsop burned down yesterday, just weeks before a planned bicentennial celebration; more reaction to Bush’s Supreme Court nomination; and the president hints at military action to fight potential avian flu outbreaks.
