Katrina coverage winding down

Our hurricane coverage moved to a single column today, reflecting a gradual dialing down of stories coming through on the wire services. Gary Graham said that other papers are taking similar approaches , although the coverage varies (Even some papers in the South have backed off today to make room for local election results).
