Eye On Boise: Senate Kills Property Tax Reform

Meghann Cuniff /Eye On Boise: The big property tax bill, HB 876, just failed in the Senate on a 15-20 vote. All Panhandle senators voted for the bill, which would have shifted school maintenance and operation funding from the property tax to an increased sales tax.
