SR Edit Teaser (by Doug Floyd) : Knesovich has valid credentials, but we’ll need to wait and see. There is a concern, though that as union president he is too close to the rank and file. His ardent defense of the two deputies involved in the Dukes of Hazzard exploit is troublesome. He needs to put his law enforcement, administrative and leadership skills to work and he needs to show he can be the boss, not a buddy.

Question: Should county prosecutors, sheriffs, assessors, clerks, treasurers and coroners be partisan offices?
