What to do with Adam Morrison

First off, to feed the rumor mill a bit, Valley editor Jeff Jordan has it on good authority that Adam Morrison bought himself a brand-new Land Rover yesterday. “Apparently the dealership thought he was a good credit risk,” quipped city editor Dan Hansen.

The bigger question is where to run Morrison’s announcement, coming up this afternoon, that he’s foregoing his senior year to enter the NBA draft. The fact that we pretty much know what he’s going to say makes a strong argument that it shouldn’t go on page one. The fact that people are dying to know what he’s going to say anyway makes a pretty strong argument that it should go on page one.

So we’ll wait and see. Look for a story online later this afternoon, and maybe, just maybe, video footage of the announcement if Colin Mulvany can get there and back in time.
