It pays to plan ahead

The newsroom was scrambling to put together today’s Kevin Coe package ready for print and the Web. Some of the work, including today’s timeline , had already been done in anticipation of Coe’s scheduled Sept. 8 release. Another component, a retrospective on the trial written by Rick Bonino (who was the lead reporter on the Coe case at the time), is in the works if we need it.
