Green Libertarian: “It’s not at all hard to understand why Bush has done nothing to control the borders. Illegal immigrants keep down the wages of all americans, especially at the lower levels, and are perfectly willing to work in substandard condititions for substandard wages. It saves big agribusiness (and WalMart, before they got caught) a ton of money. Besides, who’s going to take care of the yards (and more and more, the kids)in the McMansions?”

DFO: GreenL, could it be that the moon and stars just lined up right, and I agree with you here? It feels soooooo strange. But I agree that Bush and other leading Repubs are out to lunch on the threat to our borders.
