Washington Poll: Rossi Over Gregoire in ‘08

Strategic Vision, LLC, has just sent HBO a poll of Washington voters that found:

*38% approved of Governor Christine Gregoire’s job performance; 54% disapproved; and 8% were undecided. The poll found that 45% approved of the job performance of the State Legislature; 46% disapproved; and 9% were undecided.

*In a hypothetical 2008 match-up between Gregoire and 2004 opponent, Dino Rossi , the poll found that 55% said they would vote for Rossi; 35% said they would vote for Gregoire; and 10% were undecided.

*United State Senator Patty Murray received a 54% job approval; with 30% disapproving; and 16% undecided. United States Senator Maria Cantwell received a 47% job approval; with 35% disapproving; and 18% undecided.

*In a potential match-up with Senator Cantwell and Republican Mike McGavick , the results were Cantwell 48%; McGavick 40%; and 12% undecided.
