Heading for the ‘Mountain,’ looking at the cliff

We’re going to see “Brokeback Mountain” today. Finally it arrives in Spokane, just as it’s coming to most of the smaller markets across the country today. Maybe now we’ll stop hearing the conspiracy theories involving gay-themed movies and the unwillingness of certain movie chains – AMC, at least – to show them.

Funny that the film is showing in Spokane only in the downtown AMC River Park Square Theatres . Assume what you want about the area’s Regal Cinema theaters.
