All good Italian meals end, too

Looks like there finally will be an end to “The Sopranos” saga. My colleague Tom Sowa sent me an e-mail this morning that referred to a story quoting the show’s creator, David Chase, as saying, “This will be the end.”

Chase was talking of the final eight episodes, which are scheduled to air beginning in 2007. The penultimate season’s 12 episodes begin on March 12.

While everything does end sooner or later, remember what Michael Corleone said in “Godfather III” : “Just when I thought that I was out they pull me back in.”

Of course, “The Godfather” series ended, too.
