Question: Reparations for Slavery’s Descendants?

DFO: We’ve debated this one somewhat in the HBO comments section, with Unbearable Bob supporting reparations and Dave Tolle and other conservatives opposing them. I come down on the side of Dave here. The tens of thousands of Union soldiers who died to rid this country of the awful scourge of slavery was a major reparation. Anything more will divide us further as a people today.
