Idawa: Why I Loathe Cantankerous Old Fogies

Idawa: On a lighter note, the photo makes me remember how much I loathe cantankerous old fogies. It’s just going to get worse now that all you baby boomers are starting to retire … Is it just because I’m rarely around the elderly and only see images like this, old men complain about taxes, society, the fact they took “Murder She Wrote” off the air, how things were so much better when Reagan was in charge, etc..that I feel this way. Or is it just my generation, have we been programmed to hate the elderly or is it instinctual because we know that will have the weight of the retired baby boomer on our backs and that they’ll suck social security dry and I won’t be able to retire until I’m 99 …?

Dang: Don’t learn everything about the elderly from The Simpson’s, idawa. These are people who are going to lose their homes because of the non-stop spending spree local government has taken. Yeah, they’re pissed. After I release what I’m discovering about the Lake City Development Corp, they’re going to be even more angry. Stay tuned.
