Concerns: In “City warns elderly of heat wave,” we’ve heard some concern about noting that the woman in the story leaves her windows open at night. Editor Steve Smith said that leaving windows open at night is a safety issue, but he also noted that the article also does not tell where the woman is living.
OCC : First order of business this morning was to pull up one of four staff names for OCC tickets from the marketing wing. S-R’s marketing department had purchased these tickets at face value.

(1) No harassing, bullying or discriminatory language, “including zero tolerance of male white-bashing.”
(2) No lying. “You lie, you die,” she says.
(3) No abuse of authority.
(4) Nothing that causes lack of trust in the department. Examples include no sex on duty, no reckless driving in a patrol car, and never failing to take a rape report.
