Baker’s heroic story now on DVD

Just received a letter from a reader named Jessica Corral. Her question: “I was wondering if there was any way to get a video copy of the documentary on Vernon J. Baker . I’ve been looking all over the Internet and can’t seem to find anything.”

First I had to find the title. After a few searches, I found “Honor Deferred,” a 50-minute film that premiered Feb. 11 on the History Channel . A quick look at that cable television’s Web site came up with a DVD that goes for $24.95.

As I wrote back to Jessica, I hope that’s the film she meant.
