Huckleberries: Another close encounter of the Gozzer kind
Gozzer Ranch hands, as you may recall, have trouble waiting their turn. On Tuesday, Huckleberries told you about the captain of a ritzy Gozzer Stan-Craft cutting in line for gas at the Coeur d’Alene Resort Boardwalk and then pumping fuel into the cocktail cruiser’s clean-water system. The Huckleberry reminded Anita Howard of Harrison of another recent close encounter with an impatient Gozzer employee. Seems she was southbound on Fourth, waiting in a long line of cars for the light to change to turn east onto the freeway, when a Suburban with a “GOZZER4” plate drove to the front of the line in the adjoining lane. The Gozzer4 driver then made an illegal left-hand turn onto the freeway from the through-traffic lane, cutting off a car. Anita, who’s also seen Gozzer vehicles speeding on I-90, had her fill this time. So she called Gozzer HQ, without satisfactory results. Now she plans to “really keep my eye on them and start reporting them to the ISP.” Sounds like all of us should keep our eyes on them, too.
“First, you should know that Dalton Gardens developer Bill Radobenko and Marshall Chesrown are partners in the Legacy Ridge project on the hillside above Liberty Lakes. Think luxury homes priced from $1.6 million to $2.5 million. Onward. During a recent Street of Dreams open house, the cattle on the other side of the hill got out and mowed their way toward the ritzy subdivision until they hit the bluegrass. Unruffled Radobenko quipped: “We’ll do anything for motif.” (Cows sold separately.)
