Almost turkey day

The morning meeting seems to be running on less steam than usual in the buildup to Thanksgiving. The talk at today’s meeting revolved around the story packages on the Sports and Northwest section Fronts. Gary Graham gave kudos to Joe Palmquist and his crew in sports for their Who’s No.1? package.
After that Dan Hansen mentioned that he thought the “By the numbers” that went along with the B1 story Connecting parents and teachers might have needed a background to help it stand out a bit and make it easier to read. The general consensus at the table was that the white space that was built into it made it easy enough to read.
