007: Repubs Are Going to Lose Big in November

James Bond: James Bond will once again reiterate what some have teased him about: The GOP is going to LOSE BIG in November. For so many reasons, this is true. The Foley scandal may well cement the GOP’s loss, but I view it as more of a symptom than a cause. I sincerely hope that, after November, we can get rid of the syncophants and corporate welfare pigs and get back to being the party of the regular man and woman.

DFO: The experts say that winning or losing Congress boils down to a handful of congressional districts — and there doesn’t appear to be a tidal wave out there. The D’s biggest problem is their failure to articulate a national message a la the R’s in 1994. The R’s deserve to lose. They have provided little leadership in the last 12 years. And the lack of fiscal responsibility should be considered a scandal by the partisans. With the current uninspiring R leadership, the thought of Nancy Pelosi as House Speaker doesn’t bother me any more.
