A monument to Mother Teresa, an ethnic Albanian born in nearby Macedonia, stands as a symbol of charity on Pristina’s Nene Tereze Bulevardi.


Some of the graffiti in Pristina looks more like actual art than mere doodles.


Cigarette stands are everywhere. Kosovo is one of the last stands of the Marlboro People.


Yes, there is a Miss Kosova (the Albanian name for Kosovo). And, if you can read the sign, a Miss Puerto Rico, Miss India and Miss Albania as well.
