Two Coeur d’Alene teens were charged with vehicular manslaughter today for an Oct. 13 crash that killed a 14-year-old boy and severly injured the boy’s mother. Dominick F. Salois (right), 19, and Daniel W. Cutting (left), 17, were allegedly racing their cars on Kathleen Avenue at speeds of 80 mph – well over the posted speed limit of 35 mph – when the crash occurred, according to Idaho State Police. Salois struck a Chevy Caprice as it was pulling out to make a turn onto Kathleen Avenue. The driver of the Caprice, 52-year-old Glenda Norris, was severly injured in the crash and her son, Isaac, was killed. Salois and Cutting were not injred in the crash. According to ISP, both young men were arrested earlier this afternoon and are being held on $50,000 bond each — Taryn Brodwater /Spokesman-Review.
