It’s just a joke, folks…

We haven’t had any complaint calls so far about Frank Sennett’s Hard 7 column this week, headlined ” Stop fatties and gimps from waddling, rolling to the altar .” Steve Smith acknowledged this morning that he was anticipating some reaction over the piece, in which Sennett satirizes the reasoning applied by opponents of gay marriage.

Smith said that at times like these, he sometimes wants to put a “this is a joke” label to clarify things for readers. However, at least at this hour, it seems like the majority of Frank’s readers get it. Maybe there’s hope after all…
