Al-Jazeera smacks down the Spokesman

Well, not really. But we did get a chuckle out of their decidedly tongue-in-cheek news item on our meeting webcasts . The piece was produced for Listening Post , a program on the English-language Al Jazeera International (a connection that will no doubt spawn some interesting conspiracy theories).

And while Richard Gizbert didn’t quite get the name of the newspaper right, he at least pronounced “Spokane” correctly, which is more than we can say for some of the broadcast media in this country.
